Wow! What a day. Jim was liberated for a few shorts hours today. Compliments to Charles Dankmeyer and his staff and John Smith and his staff from Otto Bock. They provided me with a “C Leg“. The “C Leg” allowed me for the first time since my amputation to walk again without the assistance of damn crutches. It was an emotional experience that only an amputee could relish in . As you know I have been without a leg since May 2006. Remember I had my leg amputated on a Monday and went to work on a Friday, on Saturday I rode a three wheeler on the “Boardwalk” and never looked back. Although , I have been frustrated and questioned by even strangers why I elect not where a leg. Well if I had a “C Leg” by Otto Bock I would be walking now . My health insurance company claimed a “C Leg” was a “ Luxury - Deluxe item “. What in the hell is a “Deluxe Leg” when it is man made , that is crazy, just nuts to think. Oh the decision makers of Blue Cross know what a “Deluxe Item” is , the knees you come into the world with … oh yea , not some “man made” contraption. Therefore I had to accept under protest a less than efficient and inferior product. The leg I had to accept in lieu of a “C Leg” was not what I needed but got. The leg I got is like a lamp post compared to what the C Leg offered in walking. The “C Leg” for lack the of a another word “ the bomb “
What I did today was test walk a “C Leg“. A “C Leg” has a micro processor that allows so much. One, I was able to wear the “C Leg” longer today than I had worn my previous leg since I had received the “ LAMP POST “ 18 months ago. In trying to get my point across look at this way, a Rolls Royce compared to Fred Flintstones buggy. I hope you can get the point. The “C Leg” was forgiving in a missed step and not as rigid in the attempt to walk. The C leg made you feel like you were lighter on your feet. I was able to walk different grades and steps with ease. I feel in a month or so with the C Leg I could share a game of golf with my sons. Now that will be the day !!!!
It is a disservice to the human spirit that the “C- Leg” is not available to all leg amputees. Flat out it is outrageous with no excuse. I cannot convey to you what it is like as an amputee, but believe me…… a “C Leg” gets it done , gets it done, feel me. The decision maker with a health insurance company that denies a “C Leg” as a “Luxury or Deluxe item” should be fired. They are “Sell Outs“. I wish I had time to continue with sharing my excitement of the “C Leg” . The time has come for me to devote my energy’s on the
“C Leg” and hopefully my time will not be wasted in that I will be able to obtain one like yesterday. The effort might also allow future and current amputees the experiences of walking in comfort as close to humanly possible in today’s world.
Dankmeyer and Otto Bock you don’t know how great an experience today was for me. Thanks for sharing in a life altering experience. You all are a great asset to all amputees. Please keep up the good work.

"Lookin for some answers From Others"
Sorting out working from home is somewhat perplexing issue. The campaigns I have up or better known as web sites produce , enough is the question. Could they be doing better? Are they working to there prudential is the question. How due you measure success when you are working from home is my question. I have been doing the home job deal for about 9 months, really my wife has been working harder than me on the project.. I am eager to make contact or form a network were I could share some information. I am willing to share information in hopes that I gain some knowledge at the same time. I get frustrated sometimes working in a home based business as there is no yard stick to measure up to. How do I rank working from home against other home based bossiness. There is no way other then sharing info in obtaining where you stand working from home. I am not looking for a secret , I might have one, more of a round table conversation on where the market is and compare notes. Working from home sometimes is like a dark closet with the four walls maybe holding back progress. So if somebody out there looking for some feedback get in contact by e-mail and we can see what we come up with . Looking forward to hearing from you.

Need help with work from Home
Looking for a “Home Based Business” ? Well we can help each other. I have spent the last year sorting out a whole lot of nothing. 95% is just bunk. I mean work from home bunk. I have found a few deals you can check out > get in touch with me I will share whatever I can if I can find someone willing to do the same with there information. Look forward to hearing from you.
I have a few money making deals working from home, but I just want two or three jobs that are steady. I have spent my entire life working for myself for the most part. After having my leg amputated to a problem with cancer working from home became more important. Just be able to share with some people what is going on would be of great help that is for sure. Working a home based business is rough not fully knowing what to expect day to day. Sharing info when I was in the bar business with other owners was pretty cool. You could always gain a little insight. Home work sometimes is like a dark closet not seeing what goes on around you.

Working from Home / Living with Cancer
Hey Hey, what a week. The Internet work is coming around slowly with working from home, making some cash. Plus you know I was do for my three month check resulting from Cyberknife Treatment in November 07. The treatment in November was directed at three nodules found in June of 07.If you are interested in the CyberKnife info check out this site. http:/// Just as reminder, the nodules are a by product of Osteosarcoma ( frickin‘ cancer aka bone cancer ). The Sarcoma was found from a pathological fracture of my right femur. In plan English, I fell and broke my thigh in Jan 06. One more nodule was found from my latest CT scan, that we will watch until June 08 or so. Then we will go on from there.

Instead of on the internet this week an working from home, I probably spent to much time letting people know what was going on and just relaxing. Although we have got a few hot items from “ClickBank” with our home based job . That is what is cool about working from home or car or park bench. First, it is not like you take a day off. It just so happens that the Internet job I can carry wherever I chose to do my job and work. Our web sites , we pretty much maintain with a our two person operation( wife and I). If business continues to grow with cash, nobody knows where I might wind up , maybe the island’s somewhere working. As long as there is internet access you are still working from home as I see it. I have not gotten to the point of just working 4 days a week. I am still working on consistency with a cash flow. Working from home or as I call it a… home based job and the cancer work for me. Don’t forget that I had my leg amputated May 06 that was probably what really got me motivated. Even before losing my leg I hated to drive. Now I have a good excuse not wanting to drive and work from home. Get in touch and I will share whatever from my experiences that may be positive for you if you do the same. That is what is so hard trying to find good info , info that makes some since, not a million dollars next. I wish working from home in lieu of working mans job. Til’ next time ……

Work from or not to work from? You have to make the choice. We do as it is. Working from for us took sometime to get the scoop. Scam among Scam. Check out the site we put up for free. Reall y my wife gets the credit, mostly it was hard work. In our site some of the projects or better known as "campaigns". that is the guru talk you have to learn first. That is a project in itself. Home Business can produce cash money. Cash is the name of the ticket that you might not make in a Brick and Motar store. Check out this site http://1617814.home-biz-how-to.com/. This will give you broad overveiw of what's up and we feel works. The site is free. I hope you will have some luck as we did and do. Any questions get in contact I will share where we are. If a few of us worked together we would be surprised I am sure where this would go. The work from home deals on our web are proven. We look everday for bigger and better. I should say my wife does. The big problem is people dont talk and share for the most part. I will share what I know for a little insight. At this time you feel that you are on island and all the other islands are making a fortune. http://1617814.home-biz-how-to.com/

What is a Secured Credit Card ???
I have heard it before " I can't get a credit card" like any other credit , a credit card is obtainable. Question is just at what cost to you. The cost can be just crazy. It's called a "Secured Credit Crad" . Use your head and judgement. Ask yourself "why do I you need a Credit Card." What is your purpose of obtaining a credit card with bad credit, or as the bank likes to call it, to make you feel better "blemished credit" Will a check card work ask yourself ?
100's of Credit Card Choices Secured Site
http://coastal.NewCreditApplications.com
Here is the deal with a Secured Credit Card. The issuer of the Crdeit Card sets up a savings account for you in your name. The fee for the service can be expensive. That is why I ask why do you need a CreditCard. After the fee is payed, your savings account is set up to accept your deposit. The deposit can be made a lot of time by "MoneyGram" at a local Walmart. Your deposit determines how much credit you are exteneded. This is where the securded comes in the isser can't lose. For instance, you deposit $300.00 in the savings account. Some issuers will allow you to increase your account up to $10,000.00. Check with the issuer for details. Bingo $300.00 is your credit limit less any set up fees. Set up fees genrally run about $100.00 to $125.00 per account plus another $25.00 per card issued.
About 10 days or so after the deposit is made you will have your new credit card. A few of the securded Creit Card issuers will offer a expedited service that will allow you to obtain the Credit Card overnight at a extra fee, dont do it unless it is a must. Now that you are up and running here is what is next. You will get a monthly statement that will show your Credit limit , balance and Min payment due and date due. You make the payment on time and the issuer notifys the credit breau that your payment was on time. Now you have started the process of repairing your Poor Credit. The Credit Breau does not know that you have a "Secured Card" or do they care. The Credit agencys just care about you whether you make the payment on time. After about a year or so you should be able to obtain a basic Credit Card
without being a secured card. Dont get caught up with making a payment more than the min. due, if you can go for it. Do not do more than you can and create a problem with offer accounts or bills. We are trying to repair your credit not make it worse. Any questions feel free to contact me. I will try and answer any questions from where I have been. You might be able to learn from some of my many mistakes. Next time I will be writing about Re-FI's with the home mortgage. I just speak or write. from my experience I do not proclaim to be an expert.

Credit , Credit Repair, Poor Credit
Have you had enough about "Credit, Poor Credit, Credit Ratings? Credit , it is every where like a bad dream and the "Credit Nightmare" goes on and on. Maybe I can add a little insight and comfort as I have been in the poor credit column at one time.
Credit can be a best friend if you use control and take care of it like a friend. At the same time, extended credit can almost seem to destroy you from the inside out of abused. Credit can be a expensive way to purchase household items. Although the household purchases you may deam important, if not just hell bent on getting whatever. Before you make a purchase consider , why do I need this item, what am I going to do with it and what I am going to get from the item. What is my return for running up my credit card. What's the bottom line cost. You will find, which a lot of people dont agree, dont get caught up in the interest rates. If you need the item for quailty of life or just basic needs go for it. You don't have much of a choice. Now , if that credit card purchase is a nonestential purchase hold back it. The need for the item might be like a "bad cold", you might get over. If you are still on a mission to purchase this item get a promotional credit card with some perks. There all types of CreditCards that offer great deals on purchases. Check out http://coastal.NewCreditApplications.com offers 100's of credit cards for all types credit ratings. You will find the card to match your need. Today was the quarterly /post Fall cyberknife treatments checkup typical of a cancer pt . It will be a couple of days waiting on the results being that I had the test CT Scan here on the "Shore" with Georgetown University / Johns Hopkins over seeing my care. In the intermin it's sit and wait.
On the bright side I had a great conversation with a long lost cousin. We talked for the first time in 7 years so. Great conversation with me sharing most of the information about where I have been and what I thinking towards the future. It was nice to converse with someone that seemed to apperciate the goings on. I also got an e-mail from my sister n law , that was on the upside, she offered, trying to understanding the events and where I am coming from. We had a good laugh over an upcoming family event that is taking place next weekend. I wish I could share it , it was just a good laugh.
I am really fired up for this rest of the week "Speed Week" from Daytona. I look forward to enjoying the race from the comfort of my living room. In the past 12 years it was a work day. I would try to get fired up, but I had to provide the entertainment at work "BSing" with the customers. Yea saw maybe 10 laps or so. The Daytona 500 is the Super Bowl of Nascar. Stay tuned for take on the credit industry and where that is and going.

"Hell" that part or the "Heaven" part comes to roost tomorrow. Time for the follow up to treatment to encompass the Ct scan. Now the reaity of the cancer deal sits in. Some in my network claim I live in denial. Well , let me say this about that, call it what you might, its called living with cancer. Yea living with cancer. You gotta " move" , move meaning live life. The quote of " dream like you will live forever, live like you will die tomorrow". That about as well as it can be said. (I wish I could acknowledege where that quote came from but I am unable to.) springsteen proclaims " it aint no sin to be glad your alive" That is the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Take the words and practice what they mean and see where they lead. You gotta keep the glass half full in lieu of half empty approach.
the real side of the deal is your family and trying to be support for them as they try to stay strong and support you. That is the part that could pull your heart through your throat. You have always been the control of the buggy now it runs rein free. Like down and uncharted trial. Well tomorrow we will find direction as we get the results. I going to go with the half full until someone tells me different. and the story goes on at a later date.....

to continue "how it all came undone" what surprises people the most is the "amputation". I had the leg removed on a Monday went to work on Friday, really not that big of a deal. What was a big deal is the business my wife and I had that we had to close. In January 2006 (pathliogocal break ) it all began and from there the business was on a downward slope. The end of the Slope was August of 2007. In the end it was a relief once we were able to get away from the whole enviroment of work , work and work more. We ran a "hands on" Restaurant & Bar. I was the personality "go to person" and my wife was the detail person who kept it all together. In losing my leg the "hands on" approach became "hands off" .... more like sitting around directing trafffic as in playing owner. Being in that position really didn't do much for me that is for sure. I still could wash dishes, help on the line if the kitchen was in the weeds. On one leg hopping around would wear on you after awhile , not to say I did get in the way or I was always asking for staff to get me things. Really I just was not effective and in the way, not that I would give up, just had to be realistic. Stand by.... plenty to come....

How it all came undone
It all started coming undone.... when I slipped and fell to a pathlogical fracture of the femur to find Osteosracoma aka "bone cancer". In the short did the chemo and elected to have my leg amputated to the hip ( hemi-pelvectomy). That word sounds scary, really not that big of a deal. More to come.....
